I had a lot of fun planning and hosting a Friendsgiving party for my girlfriends last weekend! To keep things simple I decided a potluck-style brunch would be the way to go.  I made some Montecristo rolls and a cheese ball and bought some delicious cakes at a local Persian market. For drinks, we had sparkling cider and naturally flavored water, which I love because it is very easy to make, tastes fresh and it adds to the decor.

I wanted to have an activity where someone could win a prize so I decided to have a DIY version of a TableTopics cube. I had a bowl with pieces of paper containing various TableTopics-like questions and one piece of paper with a turkey picture. The idea was to go around the table responding to the questions and whoever picked the turkey would win a prize. After the first topic selected resulted in a 30 minute tangent-riddled discussion, we bailed on the game and just selected topics until someone ended up with the turkey.  This game might be better suited for a group that doesn't know each other very well 🙂

We took lots of pictures and shared a lot of laughs together! Here are some of the pictures from the event.

And of course, the best part of it all was being able to visit with friends. I love these girls and I look forward to many more Friendsgiving parties with these beauties!!
